Hi Yanik;

Very interesting story and pictures. I'm happy to hear
you like our Canadian hockey players. It sounds like you had a great time....Don't miss a moment of life.

Off the topic Re: "Your big list" Maybe you can Raft the
Colorado River with Joel Comm some time???
The Heli Skiing could be done in the same time frame as the
2010 Winter Olympics being held here at Whistler/Vancouver, British Columbia Canada
Maybe I will get a chance to meet you then.

Thank you for being there with lots of info. etc, etc. for me.

Yanik, I have just one word: envy. If you like vomit-inducing exercise, I also recommend joining the overheat experimentation lab at Stanford. I was there for a few weeks to see how my body responded to overheating (fun, no?), and this is how it worked:

1. Take a 2-foot long esophageal probe (flexible plastic and about 3/4 the diameter of a straw) and put in down your nose and down your throat until it rests next to your heart. Tape the outside end on your nose so you don't choke to death. This measures core body temperature. The worst part? You can't swallow your own spit, as it props your epiglottis open. Yummmmmers.

2. Put on full army fatigues and field gear, including a helmet and 30-lb. backback.

3. Go into a 100+-degree heat room and speed walk on treadmills at a 13-degree incline until you overheat and essentially.... drop. It took me 45-90 minutes. No drinking allowed.

Not as fun as zero-G, I'll admit ;) My last trip to Brazil, on the other hand, was one hell of a ride (www.nexussurf.com). Most recommended.

Viva la Internet Road Trip and all other road trips!
