Screw Frank Kern…

Okay Frank is too busy surfing and enjoying his damn life in LaJolla to send over all the pics from the Road Rally for our long-suffering readers (probably like 4 at this point). So screw him!

I’m going to take over…yes the new videos will probably be amateur but at least there will be something new up here ;)

So what I’ve decided to do is keep this blog going on an ongoing basis with all the adventures and misadventures I get into (there might be a marketing lesson or 2 that slips in too).

Now I figure I should recap some of my other trips so you guys can all be up to speed.

1. Australia and New Zealand

Bungee

Back in November 2004 I was able to get down to Australia and New Zealand for 2 weeks with my wife, Missy. Not anywhere near enough time but we made the most of it in Queenstown. I did the Red Bull acrobatic plane (I think the pilot was close to puking before I was), All 3 bungee jumps (the same one Tiger Woods recently did), Canyon Swing, Jetboating and some flying contraption.

2. Baja Racing with Corey Rudl

Baja Racing

This was one of my favorite trips because we drove in crazy $70K dune buggies built for the famous Baja1000 race. Of course, if you’re in the Internet marketing community you also know Corey passed away tragically a short time after this in a racing accident. Racing was his life and I’m sure he wouldn’t have had it any other way. Check out the video for some of the good times and some insights into Corey you wouldn’t normally see on his public website:

3. Running with the Bulls, Pamplona, Spain

Running with the bulls

This had been on my “Big List” of things to do before I die (perhaps I’ll post the list here at some point). I finally checked it off in July 05 probably not the best timing because Missy still hasn’t quite forgiven me for leaving her 7 months pregnant. So if anybody needs to make themselves look good to their wifes, just cite my example. ;)

4. Turks & Caicos Volleyball Vacations (err..Yanik’s Springbreak)

Conch Attack

This past January I had a week of pretty much nothing but beach volleyball and partying in Turks & Caicos. It’s a great trip called “Volleyball Vacations” put on by an AVP pro, Al-B Hanneman. In 05 I went by myself and made a bunch of friends who I saw again this year so the party immediately kicked into high gear once we touched down in Turks and saw each other again. I feel like I never really grew up and it’s great to find some people to love to party like I do (read: drinking games, sneaking into people’s rooms at 4 AM, and lots of other undisclosed antics.)

And then right after this trip, I turned right around and headed to Aruba with 2 of my Apprentices who won the contest for being the top performers.

Here’s the page for that video (you can hear my voice still needs some recovery time:

Okay that’s a good re-cap will be back with more shortly…
